Pierre Collin French, b. 1956

Born in 1956 in Paris, Pierre Collin lives and works mainly in Conleau (Vannes-Morbihan) and also in Paris.

Commission of 12 engravings by LP Art for their 2010 calendar.

Receives the engraving prize of the Academy of Fine Arts endowed by Mrs Nadded Ojjed who dedicates an engraved work.

 

2009 -  Commission of a series of 15 engravings to illustrate Un matin pour la vie, an album with 4 unpublished short stories by Françoise Sagan (first edition) by the Société de bibliophilie des 101, Paris. Edition of a series of engravings by RLD editions

 

2010 - Galerie Pictura, Cesson-Sévigné. Galerie Doyen, Vannes.

 

2011 - Edition of the album Au Musée with 5 lithographs and a deluxe edition with a print, accompanied by extracts from Marcel Proust's La Recherche du temps perdu, En Puisaye collection, RLD editions.

 

2012 - Galerie Bazouges-la-Pérouse. Vannes Museum " 25 years of collecting ".

 

2013 - Publication of the Sol y sombra album, 17 leporello engravings accompanied by 1 March 1938, poem by Picasso, introduction by Androula Michaël, art historian specialized in the written work of Picasso, l'Appuie-tête and Pèle-Mèle editions. Presentation at the gallery of L'ESPE - Vannes 

 

2018 - Pierre Collin was elected on April 25, 2018 as a member of the French Academy of Fine Arts, in the seat of René Quillivic, n°IV of the Engraving Section.
