Helena Arellano Mayz loves lines, which are expressed in her visual compositions as well as in her writing.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she currently lives between her hometown and Paris, France.
Since 2012, she has been exhibiting work through her series: Tesitura Musical, Japan Jazz (subject of a solo exhibition at Galerie Documents 15 in 2014), and Pas de Deux, Danse.
She combines printmaking (etching, drypoint, lithograph or photo-engraving), engraving on plexiglass, and photography, playing subtly with the specific features of each technique.
