-
Lucio Mosner was born in Paris in 1993. He graduated from the Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2019.
Alongside his drawing and painting, he trained in intaglio engraving towards the end of his studies with engraver Pablo Flaiszman, in whose studio he continues to work today. In 2022, he was awarded the Savoir Faire en Transmission prize, which enabled him to fully develop his aquatint technique.
He has since exhibited his work in various galleries, museums, and salons dedicated to printmaking and regularly participates in artist residencies.
In 2024, he won the Gravix prize.
Lucio Mosner develops work around landscape and memory. He draws his inspiration from both nature and the urban environment, during his travels and daily commutes. By combining etching and aquatint, he seeks to transcribe moments of contemplation from memory through the play of light and shadow. Although he often starts from a realistic approach, he expresses a certain ambiguity between reality and memory, which gives his landscapes a poetic or dreamlike dimension.
